This is the part of my website where I would like to say something about holidays.
Probably the most celebrated is St. Patrick's day. St' Patrick is the patron of Ireland so they celebrate it really very sprightly. Everything is coloured green (including the rivers, skin and hair of people, animals, food, simply everything). And it wouldn't be the St. Patrick's day without alcohol and it wouldn't be the Irish people if they weren't drunk :D )
Another very important day is Halloween. It originally comes from Irish Celts (or Kelts, both forms are possible). It was originally called Samhain and it was the celebration of the start of the dark part of the year, a day, when all those who died can return to this world again and can cause a lot of unpleasant things or even kill someone. The Celts had great respect for their forefathers but they were "forced" to blame the ghosts. And that's how all the madness around Halloween began. :-)
