The Republic of Ireland is also very interesting country. Plenty of well-known drinks come from Ireland. Probably everyone knows the famous beer called Guiness, which is made in Dublin, or some whiskeys. Let's name some of them: Tullamore Dew, Jameson, Green Spot, Bushmills and Black Bush. In Ireland there is a lot of traditional bars which are accesible only for people over 18 (that's what I personally really appreciate).
Another interesting thing is the tradition of Irish fairytales. Most of you probably heard about The Banshee (bean-sidhe), the fairy figure from almost every Irish tale about fairies and elves. Unfortunatelly The Banshee is probably the only one which is well-known. But in Irish tales there's a lot of others. For example Dullahan, Pooka and also the famous Leprechauns (who were made famous especially by the books and movies about Harry Potter).
